Two exciting online profile-raisers happened for my Skilltime business today.
First, Jennifer Miller, owner of Skillsource, Professional Development Resources, has given my book, “SPEAK UP!” a rave review on her blog, “The People Equation”. Jennifer and I “met” on Twitter about a year ago, have been interacting ever since, and will meet face-to-face for the first time this week on Skype. You really can develop great relationships through social media!
Second, a busy Canadian public speaker, Mike Moore, who focuses on Humour in the Workplace and Stress Management, has given me a hearty recommendation on his blog, “Mike’s Laughter Lounge”, http://speakerman1.blogspot.com/ and has sent an email about me to his 8,000-strong mailing list. Mike’s generous recommendation shows the changing face of marketing. The new reality is “The leverage is in the list.”
